Lindsey Westendorf is the founder, owner-operator, and lead instructor at Smoothe & Co., where she brings over a decade of esthetic expertise, industry leadership, and an unwavering commitment to inclusivity and client care. A Raleigh native and graduate of Mitchell’s Academy, Lindsey became a Licensed Esthetician after overcoming her own struggles with skin—fueling a lifelong passion to help others feel confident and cared for in their own skin.

Lindsey specializes in both men’s and women’s waxing, known for her fast, precise technique and a calming presence that helps clients feel at ease. Her journey includes years of experience as a trainer for a national waxing chain before she developed her own intensive, hands-on training program at Smoothe & Co., setting the gold standard for results-driven, compassionate esthetics.

Since its launch in January 2018, Smoothe & Co. has grown significantly under Lindsey’s leadership. Her vision of unparalleled customer service led her to hand-pick and train a team of experts, expanding services across the Raleigh area. Lindsey’s journey began with her own struggles with skin issues, fueling her passion for esthetics. Recognized as The BEST in Triangle 2017 by INDY WEEK and a finalist for “Best Aesthetician” in subsequent years made it to the finals, Lindsey’s dedication to her craft is evident. Smoothe & Co. has also received accolades such as WRAL TV’s 2019 Best “Skincare/Laser” Award, recognition in Best of Raleigh by the N&O in 2022, and making Raleigh’s Top 5 Spas in the Triangle in 2024 by WRAL TV.

In 2025, after stepping away to focus on scaling the business and raising her family, Lindsey returned to the treatment room with renewed passion and purpose. Her mission today is clearer than ever: to offer not just exceptional treatments, but a space where every client regardless of background or identity feels seen, safe, and valued. Lindsey has been recently featured in multiple blogs such as Bold Journey, Voyage , and Voyage Raleigh for her leadership in creating an inclusive, welcoming environment at Smoothe, further solidifying her reputation as a pioneer in the Raleigh skincare community.

When she’s not transforming the esthetics experience for her clients and team, Lindsey enjoys family time, trying new recipes, and relaxing by the water, always with SPF in hand.
