Meet Kelsey, Smoothe Esthetician

Originally from Maryland, Kelsey spent most of her life growing up in Raleigh, NC. Her educational journey led her to ECU, where she earned her degree in Public Health in 2018. After three years of working in the field, she discovered a keen interest in skincare/esthetics and a strong desire for a career change that would align more closely with her passion. With a clear vision of wanting to work closely with people and help them feel confident in their own skin, Kelsey found the perfect way to combine health and beauty, something that deeply resonates with her values. This led her to make the decision to quit her full-time job and enroll at the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill from August 2022 to January 2023. Taking this step and embracing a new path has already brought her immense fulfillment, and she can’t wait to continue this journey of helping people feel comfortable and confident in their skin at Smoothe & Co.!

Kelsey is excited to learn how to properly incorporate medical-grade skincare into clients’ routines to help them achieve healthy, glowing skin. Whether she’s helping you treat/manage your acne or reverse signs of aging, Kelsey wants to be there every step of the way. She also loves perfecting the art of a good brow moment!

Outside of her profession, Kelsey enjoys working out, cooking, anything food-related, coffee, traveling, and spending time with loved ones—both human and furry.
