Chemical Peel Review: Second Appointment
We love our Smoothe clients and we love being able to show off their results! Anna T. is going through our Six-Part Chemical Peel Series right now and she is allowing us to document her experience before, during, and after each appointment to share with all of you. Keep an eye on the blog for updates and keep reading to see how her first chemical peel went.
As a reminder, your first appointment in the chemical peel series is when you and your esthetician from Smoothe will decide on a treatment plan that is right for you. We will discuss your issues and expectations. You will receive a Smoothe “Clinical” Facial that is required before we start our chemical peel treatment series. This facial includes a double cleanse, enzyme, skin scrubber, tone, and hydrate/protect. You will also be given your homecare kit at this time.
You must be on homecare for one week prior to your peel. The rest of your appointments will be scheduled at this time and will occur once every seven-to-10 days unless noted otherwise by your esthetician. Your first appointment will be about one hour long but the following appointments will only last about 30 minutes with minimal to no downtime.
Second Appointment
Your second appointment is an in-office treatment starting with a peel of esthetician’s choice. The above pictures are the results of Anna’s second appointment. The top two photos are before her appointment and the bottom two are after the appointment and home care. We are so excited about the progress that has already been made! Remember, your skin will purge for about four-to-six weeks. This is completely normal and expected.
